Peter and Elizabeth are far away from their pets. How they miss their Labador retriever, Siamese cat and old English bull terrier. They don't know that their pets miss them too. So much so, in fact, that the animals ake a 250-mile journeyto see Peter and Elizabeth.
 
The animals face all kinds of hardships-near-starvation, near-drowning, attacks by other animals, injuries, and more. Still they keep on going, helping each other along the way. Nothing can keep them from being reunited with the children they love.
